You've no doubt taken family camping trips in the past, but the Schafer family has taken that idea to the extreme! Kirsten and Normand Schafer packed their six kids (aged 1-14) into their RV and embarked on a province-spanning trip across Canada. Their goal is to unearth some of Canada's best travel destinations; from provincial parks to other unique natural treasures. The Shafers will also be constantly updating their progress online via sites like Google Earth and Twitter, so click here if you want to see where they're at!

Food costs are growing ever higher, and BT is here to help with a segment we like to call: "Four Can Dine for $24.99". Today we had Diana Coutu of Diana's Gourmet Pizzeria come down to show us how to prepare an excellent BBQ Chicken and Pineapple Pizza, with a nice summer salad on the side. The best part: your shopping bill should only come to around $24.50! Surf on over to our recipes section to find out how to cook this meal for yourself.

Winn City Pub will be holding its 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Bridges Golf Course on June 23rd. This year, they have once again selected Macdonald Youth Services as their recipient charity. Sean Crawford was here from MYS to tell us more about how the money raised will be used. MYS has provided youth an emergency shelter, a crisis hotline, and other programs to assist youth and families in need for over 80 years.

Tomorrow marks the 20th Annual Sneakers in Motion Day, which is an event designed to encourage the university community to get in the habit of an active, healthy lifestyle during work hours. Event coordinators Kerri Gregoire and Deanne Betteridge stopped by to fill us in on what we can expect from the event, and to show us how to warm up properly if you're participating. We've never seen Jon move so fast...ever!

Speaking of motion, the Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion event will be held this Sunday at The Forks. Money raised from the event will go towards helping people with spinal cord injuries, like event ambassador Shealon Kuly. Shealon was in a car accident, and now has no feeling from the chest down. She was here today to tell us about the event, and how the money raised goes to help people...last year she even got a new chair!
