Megan Batchelor moved around growing up but calls Altona, MB home. Coming from a military family, she's always had a passion for keeping up on current events locally and around the world. She got her first media job at the local radio station in Altona while in high school where she worked evenings and weekends. Watching the news daily with her family fueld her ambition to be a television reporter. That dream took her to Winnipeg for school. Upon graduation, Megan worked at CityTV as a news writer. And then moved on to CKX News in Brandon where she reported and later became the CKX News at 6 anchor. Megan's rejoined the CityTV news team in June 2009 as a reporter.

Extracurricular:
In her spare time Megan loves to go back home to Altona to see family. She's also a big Winnipeg Blue Bombers fan and tries to get to every home game. Megan also enjoys shopping, going to the beach, and exploring our province!
